The roller skater broke through the starting line.

On August 11th, 2024, the China Roller Skating Marathon Open (Harbin Station) was grandly held on Binhai Avenue (sections of Tianxiang Street and Keji Fourth Street) in Songbei District.

As a national-level event, this is the second time that the Chinese Roller Skating Marathon Open has been held in Harbin, with the scale ranking second in the country. It has won high praise from the Social Sports Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and the Chinese Roller Skating Association. This event not only enriches the cultural and sports life of Ice City, but also enhances the city's visibility and influence, injecting new vitality into the development of the sports industry and economic growth in Harbin and even Heilongjiang Province.

This event is hosted by the China Roller Skating Association, Heilongjiang Provincial Sports Bureau, and Harbin Municipal People's Government, and organized by the Municipal Sports Bureau, Harbin New Area Management Committee, and Harbin Roller Skating Association. It is divided into 42 kilometer whole course roller skating marathon and 18 kilometer, 12 kilometer, 6 kilometer, and 3 kilometer roller skating races based on the race distance. After fierce competition, Wang Yue from Baoding Sports School won the championship of the 42 kilometer whole course roller skating marathon.

With the successful conclusion of the 2024 China Roller Skating Marathon Open (Harbin Station), Harbin has taken a solid step forward in promoting the integration and development of the sports industry and urban economy, showcasing a more open, modern, and vibrant city to the world.
